Heat-treated beech
The heat treatment makes the wood more resistant to water , therefore it does not swell or shrink and they have a higher resistance to bacteria.
The treatment takes place in an oxygen-free oven between 180-240 ° C for 10-40 hours along with water vapour. No additives or chemicals are used in the process.

For longer life, the cutting board should be treated with suitable wood oil. When oiled, the cutting board will get a darker tone. |
